What are the dates and hours of the festival?
The Bayfront Blues & Fine Art Festival takes place Saturday, May 2 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday, May 3, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Pier 21 in Galveston.
Where is the festival located?
The festival is held on Pier 21 at 2100 Harborside Drive in historic downtown
Galveston along the beautiful waterfront.
How much does admission cost?
General admission is $15 per day. Children are free.
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online through our website or at the festival entrance during the event.
Will tickets sell out?
We encourage purchasing tickets in advance to avoid lines and ensure entry.
What can I expect at the festival?
The Bayfront Blues & Fine Art Festival features nationally and regionally recognized blues musicians, juried fine artists from across the country, food vendors, and a lively waterfront atmosphere celebrating art and music.
Is the festival family-friendly?
Yes. The festival welcomes guests of all ages. Children are admitted free and families are encouraged to attend.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome. Please be courteous and clean up after your pet.
Is the festival rain or shine?
Yes. The event will take place rain or shine. There is no rain date.
Is re-entry allowed?
Yes. Guests may re-enter the festival on the same day after checking in at the gate. At the main gate with a wristband.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes. Food vendors and a beverage station will be available at the festival.
Is there seating available?
Limited seating may be available near the stage areas. Guests are welcome to bring their own portable chairs.
Where should I park?
Public parking is available throughout Pier 21 and the downtown Galveston area. Guests are encouraged to arrive early.
Can I volunteer at the festival?
Yes. Volunteers help make the festival possible. Those who sign up to volunteer will receive an inaugural volunteer T-shirt and can enjoy the festival after completing their shift. Visit the volunteer section of our website to sign up.
Who produces the festival?
The Bayfront Blues & Fine Art Festival is presented by ARTS Downtown GTX Galveston's Cultural Arts District in partnership with the Houston Blues Society. Proceeds support Galveston’s Historic Downtown Cultural Arts District.
